About Sugar Valley Coachlines
Johnson's Bus Service was established at Young Wallsend by the Johnson family in the 1940s and remained in their ownership for decades. Their business was purchased by Spencer Ross who changed the name to Ross Bus Service and then Sugar Valley Coachlines.
The company ran into financial difficulties with an average fleet age of 17 years when taken over by Toronto Bus Services.
Sugar Valley now has a modern fleet and is a major provider of school bus charter with route services from West Wallsend, through Glendale to Newcastle University. |
